Over the last term the Marketing Department here at the Guildhall School have been busy filming various productions, activities and interviews in order to prepare new promo videos for the various courses and pathways across the school and we are very happy to share with you all the first of these which is all about the Theatre Technology pathway here on the BA (Hons.) Technical Theatre Arts course.
Check out the video below for an insight into ‘techie’ life here at the Guildhall School!
So our final drama of the Autumn term, ‘Lulu’ by Frank Wedekind, is in technical rehearsals in the Silk Street theatre. Directed by Christian Burgess and designed by Agnes Treplin the creative team is completed by Johanna Town (lighting designer), Matthew Ferguson (year 3 video designer), Erin Witton (year 3 sound designer), Rory Beaton (year 3 assistant lighting designer) and Alex Hall (BMus composer). It’s great that the production gives so many of our year 3 students an opportunity to flex their creative muscles with so many different disciplines being employed to complete the production.
Check out the photos below for an insight into the production process.
