The Technical Theatre Arts students have been producing various projects in the Milton Court Theatre over the last few weeks and the latest instalment has been yet another display of technical prowess by the Video and Stage Technology departments. ‘A Breath of Fresh Air’ was a short movement piece based around the solitary life of young men in Japan who live their entire lives in their small apartments. The performer was lifted at various points in synchronisation with the bed he was in and around (see photos below). The story was supported by a wide variety of video projected onto similarly automated screens which moved around the set as the story progressed. The production was technically managed by various TTA students with the lighting design by year 3 student Rory Beaton.
